What are fractional General Counsel services?
Our fractional GC service provides ongoing legal support for a flat monthly subscription fee. Think of it as having an experienced business lawyer “in your pocket” — ready to help review contracts, advise on legal issues, structure deals, manage compliance, and much more — without hiring full-time in-house counsel.
How is Castlegate Law priced?
We offer fixed-fee services for specific projects and transparent monthly subscription packages for ongoing needs. No billable hours. No padded invoices. Just clear, predictable pricing so you can plan ahead.

Can I get legal help before subscribing?
Yes. We offer individual project services and free 15-minute introductory calls for new clients to assess needs. Subscription is ideal if you anticipate needing regular, ongoing legal advice or fractional GC support.

Is Castlegate Law licensed everywhere?
Castlegate Law primarily serves clients doing business in North Carolina, but we are happy to work with companies operating nationwide, subject to applicable multi-jurisdictional rules and ethics requirements. We readily work with patent, trademark and copyright clients nationwide.
Will our conversations be confidential?
Absolutely. Attorney-client privilege applies to all formal engagements. Even during preliminary intake discussions, we treat your information with the utmost care and confidentiality.
How does Castlegate Law ensure client information is secure?

Policies and Disclaimers
What if a conflict of interest arises?
Before formally engaging any client, we conduct a standard conflict of interest check. If any conflict is identified, we will either resolve it ethically or, if needed, decline the engagement.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
We pride ourselves on fairness. Project-based services are priced for completion and are non-refundable once work begins. Subscription services may be canceled with 30 days’ notice. If for any reason we cannot represent you after payment but before work begins, a full refund will be issued.
